Simply Sketched Fun

I made this card for dear friend who has been under the weather.  I used the bright color Calypso Coral in attempt to "brighten" her day.  I used a blender pen to give it a water color look.  I also used my Simply Scored to add some score lines around the Whisper White card front.  Can you guess what other AMAZING tool I used?  Yep, you guessed it, the Envelope Punch Board.  I made my very first envelope to send with this card.  I used Soft Sky card stock for a softer appearance.  I also stamped the flower image from Simply Sketched again on the front of the envelope.  Stay tuned for more fun ideas using the Envelope Punch Board

I'm Back

Once again, my blog has suffered when my life got a little busy.  You can't say that you are surprised right???
I made this card for a very dear friend who had surgery a few weeks ago.  I have to say I am in love with this Hostess Set - Simply Sketched.  It is so simple yet so elegant.  I used my friends current favorite color - Strawberry Slush with Garden Green.  I really like the soft effect of the Mosaic Madness embossing folder on the Whisper White background.  Do you see the "hand stitching" I added to the Garden Green???
