Simply Thanks

A simple card with a simple statement - Thanks.  I made these for my stampin' friends that placed an online order during SAB.  I plan on using this simple layout in my next buffet, with a different sentiment, though, since this one is now retired.  I love how much pizazz a simple butterfly and rhinestone can add to a card.  I hope you are able to squeeze some stampin' in today.  I hope to this evening.  I have swaps to work on for Convention as well as a Stamp Club to prepare my stampin' time!!!

Mixed Bunch Prayers

I recently made this card for a friend who has not been feeling well, I hope it brings a smile to her face.  I enjoyed using my FREE stamp sets and ribbon and DSP from SAB to make this card. The color combination of Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party will continue to be a new favorite for me.
I can't wait to see what SU has in store for us in the new catalog....only 60 + days until it debuts :)

Stationery Box

Here is an awesome stationery box I made over a year ago.  I updated the dsp and cards with some current product and I have another class I can offer anytime.  Without my LNS Treasure Hunt clue Sticky Strip, this box would not have stayed together for a week much less this past year.  I hope you get some time to stamp today - that is where I am headed right now!!!!!

Double Slider Card - Open View

Double Slider Card - Closed
We made this card at a recent Fancy Folds class...have to admit it kinda kicked my butt when demonstrating how to make it :(  But, I finally got past my blonde moment and had an Ahah moment at the end.  We used the Twitterpated DSP with Baha Breeze and Island Indigo cardstock.

Mike's Birthday

Happy Birthday to my awesome hubby. Believe it or not, we met when I was only 13 years old and we have been together ever since!!! I took advantage of my hubby stepping out for a bit last night to make him a birthday card. How fitting to use SAB items on the last day of SAB!!! I just bought a pack of Island Indigo cardstock and ribbon about two weeks ago and I am determined to use it up before it retires. I bet I know whose Regional Convention swaps will be made with Island Indigo. I hope he likes his card!!

Aviary Prayers

I made this card several weeks ago for a friend who had not been feeling well. I hope it cheered her up and made her as happy as it made me to be able to create such a pretty card for her. I love how versatile this stamp set is and how well it pairs with Thoughts and Prayers. P.S. Only 24 hours until the end of Sale A Bration Happy Stampin'

Almost over for another year - Sale A Bration

Well stampin' friends, we are just a few short days away from saying "goodbye" to another great Sale A Bration. This set, Bloomin' Marvelous, was one of the last sets I choose as my FREE stamp set for a $50 purchase. I am enjoying creating some pretty cards with it. This card was for a co-worker/friend. I used Bravo Burgandy and Tempting Turquoise as my main colors. I hope you like it! Till next time, happy stampin'

Masculine Birthday Trees

I know I am not the only SU demonstrator that uses Lovely as a Tree as their "go to" stamp set for masculine cards. I have a new found fondness for Crumb Cake as well as Always Artichoke, so putting them togeter just made sense. I surely hope this set does not retired on May 31! Not sure I can live without this set. Hope your day is filled with stampin'

Top O' the Morning to Ya

Here is my CAS rendition of a St. Patty's Day Card. I can say this is my first one too! Not a holiday I typically celebrate. If you're Irish, I hope you enjoy the day celebrating and I hope you like the card. I used various sizes of punched circles, adhered them to the piece of Whisper White card stock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the awesome Honey Comb embossing folder. I made a card very similar to this for a friends birthday but it was in shades of blue. Happy Stampin'

Gift of Encouragement

I made this framed art for my beautiful SIL. She has recently decided to go back to school and get her college degree. I am so proud of her for doing this and I wanted to make sure she knew how proud I was of her. I love anything with butterflies, I guess you can tell. I used my favorite TOOL the Big Shot along with the Beautiful Wings Embosslet Die/Folder. I used several different shades of purple because that is her favorite color, a few are even retired. Happy Stampin'

Stamp Storage

I have had a lot of people ask me how I store my stamps - both clear and wood mount. As you can see I store my clear stamps in a stand, a DVD stand to be exact. My DH gave me one of his stands when he saw my "pile" was getting out of control. I still have one more section I can add to the middle of this stand to accomodate another 10-15 sets. The only problem is, I may not be able to reach half of them if I do that! My wood mount stamp sets are stored in drawers in my craft room. I hope your day is filled with stampin'.

Sale A Brate Aviary Style

I have to say this is one of my favorite Designer Series Paper's right now. You can get this paper FREE between now and March 22 just for placing a $50 order on my website. AAAWWEEESSSOOOOMMMEE. I think the color combination in this designer series paper is my favorite part, I already loved Pool Party and Tangerine Tango was a great shade of orange so when you put them both together that is even better. I am trying to figure out a way to use this paper all up before the end of SAB because I hate to have paper this awesome that I can't show off to all my friends!! I hope you get some stampin' in today!!

Monotone Birthday Wishes

I have had this stamp set, Everything Eleanor since fall but did not really get to experiment with it until a few weeks ago. I think it creates a very simple but elegant card. The flowers are cut out and popped up with dimensionals. The large flower has a pearl in the center of it. I hope you like it!

Masculine Birthday Trees

I have made many cards lately using this very simple layout. Crumb cake cardstock stamped with En Francais in Crumb Cake. I added Lovely as a Tree in Always Artichoke at the bottom and I used the single tree from this set on the inside as well. The Happy Birthday is stamped in Always Artichoke on Always Artichoke cardstock and cut out with a framelit from the Apothecary Accents set. I have made sympathy cards with this same layout as well. Hope your day had some stampin' in it!!!

Phone Booth Nostalgia

This Sale A Bration stamp set and the colors Tangerine Tango and So Saffron together are a lot of fun. I have been using both this stamp set and these colors a great deal lately. Isn't it funny how you can almost "forget" about a color for a while and when you "remember" it you are addicted to using it for a long time. I am always trying to use different colors together. Thanks to my Color Coach, I can do just that. Let me help you match some awesome colors and while were at it, I can help you earn some FREE items like this awesome stamp set! Happy Stampin'

Cake Anyone??

This was the very last card I came up with for my Birthday Card buffet last week and it was a favorite by many. I am glad I kept my nose to the grind and was able to keep cranking out some pretty good ideas. I had very few cards left over from this buffet which was GREAT! On to planning the next event - FANCY FOLDS WOOOHOOOO A lot of work but a favorite for many. Happy Stampin'

Happy Birthday March Friends

This cute little creation is for all of my friends and family who are celebrating a birthday in March! I think I am the only person I know whose birthday is not in March j/k. I saw this cute little creation on SC and I just had to make one to share with you. It is made using one of those little battery operated candles you can pick up super cheap in the Dollar Store. I used some DSP from Sale A Bration as well as the Pretty Petites Stamp set and coordinating Petite Curly Label Punch. I am sure my niece will love this as well. Her favorite thing to do when she comes over is to turn on any/all of these little lights that I may have on display. Have a great weekend and thanks for checking out my blog!!

Craft show

Here is a picture of my Upline and my table at a craft show we particpated in last fall. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon, we knew several other vendors who were set up and we made a few new friends too. I love fall and thanks to SU it is so easy to create some awesome fall projects. I hope you can see some of the framed art I posted a few weeks agao. My posts have been sporatic lately and my goal is for that to NOT be the norm for my blog. I will have some great pictures in the next few days of all of the awesome birthday cards we will be making at my first card buffet of this year. It's all about the birthdays!!! Happy Stampin'
