Two posts in one day, no wonder it is practically flooding outside...lol

This is a basket I made for a silent auction for a local charity event. There are over a dozen cards, a candle, calendar, ink pen, chocolate nugget purses and a gift certificate for a FREE class. I hope the basket brings big bucks for this event!!!

Fall Wreath

Once again I have found myself not keeping up with my blog. I guess there are worse things, like not stamping at all. I am stampin', just not posting. Above is a picture of athe fall wreath I made for my upcoming class in September. When I saw the Fall Wreath in the Holiday mini catalog I knew I had to make one. Hope you like it. It is a mish mosh of retired dsp. In the actual class we will be using the new DSP Spice Cake.

Upcoming Class

It has been a while since I posted to my blog. I have been busy though....planning classes and all of the prep work that goes into having classes. I had an awesome scrapbook class last night. I will post photos very soon. It was my first scrapbooking experience and I was pleased to see everyone enjoyed the scrapbooks as much as I did. Now for a reminder --

The last day to sign up for my Fancy Folds card class is on Friday, August 5th. The class will be held on Friday, August 12th from 6 - 8:30pm. The cost of the class is $10.00 and we will be making 4 cards. Stamp Club members may make a $20 purchase (before s/h) in lieu of the class fee.

Also, don't forget my Summer Special -- Book a workshop between now and Sept 15th and get any one item for 20% off. If a friend books a workshop from your workshop, you will get a 2nd item for 20% off. This is in addition to SU's awesome hostess benefits (page 9 of the catalog). If you do not have a current idea book and catalog, the cost is $5, that is 50% off the selling price.

Monthly Stamp Club Now Forming
Would you like to learn new stamping techniques? Play with different colors and stamp sets?? See the newest SU products? I am forming a hostess club where we will focus on all of these ideas.
How does a hostess club work?

There must be six members

We will meet in my home once every other month for one year

On the date of each meeting, each member is responsible for placing a minimum $25 order(before tax and shipping). The orders will be combined to forma workshop that will receive hostess benefits.

There will be a new hostess for each meeting. The hostess will be chosen by drawing names out of a hat. I will provide a light snack each month.

What are the advantages of joing the club?
Each member will receive at least $15 in free merchandise and a free hostess stamp set on their hostess month. You get the benefits of hosting a workshop without having to worry about cleaning your house!
You can purchase stamping supplies on a budget
You will make two projects at each meeting
You get a girls night out every other month (how perfect)
You will receive a free copy of the 2011 - 2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog in July. (If you dn't already have a copy of the current catalog, you will receive one)

I would like to have the 1st meeting in February and possibly hold the meetings on Friday nights, but we can all compare calendars once we know who our members will be !! I am so excited to begin this stampin' journey with each of you. Please feel free to contact me at Kelli_lu@msn.com with any questions!
Blessings,
Kelli

P.S. Don't forget Sale-A-Bration will start on 1/25 so we want to take advantage of those benefits while we can!!!
