Lotus Blossom Sympathy

We made this card at a recent All Occasion card buffet.  I really like the "triple" stamping involved with creating the lotus blossom image. Afraid of Heights?

Have you ever rode in a hot air balloon?  I haven't but I *think* it is something I might like to do one day.  I made this card with the DSP Irresistibly Yours from Sale A Bration.  You can get this awesome paper for FREE with a $50 order, but only until the end of March.  Shop HERE to get yours! I used the direct to paper technique for this card.  By that I mean I applied the Soft Sky stamp pad directly to the paper and drug it across the paper.  I used the Memento Ink to stamp the hot air balloon from Celebrate Today and then gently rubbed off the excess with a tissue.  I like the pop of color from the Daffodil Delight ribbon.  I hope you get to stamp today!

Celebrate with Cake

I have always loved the combination of Pool Party and Real Red, something about it says Retro to me.  We made this card in my Stamp Club last month.  We used the DSP from Sale A Bration called Irresistibly Yours.  We used a brayer to roll on the Real Red Ink.  We used White Craft Ink with the Big Day stamp set, also yours FREE during Sale A Bration.  We cut it out with the Chalk Talk Framelits and tapped the Embossing Buddy on the finished cut out to give it a chalk board look.  You can order any of the items  used to make this card by visiting my website HERE.  I hope your day is filled with stampin'.

It's a Pool Party Birthday

I made this card for my friend Kat for her birthday last week.  I used the color combo from this years Sale A Bration DSP.  I love these colors together, so glad none of them are leaving us.  Have I mentioned how much I am going to miss Baha Breeze?  It is killing me...just killing me...LOL
I am however, using a stamp set that will be retiring in 4 short days, Elements of Style.  I really like that set for it's shabby chic feel.  Well, it is a rainy, dreary day here in Maryland so off to my craft room I go.  I have a few more thank you cards to make for a friend as well as a farewell gift for a friend who will no longer be working with me.

Still Sale A Brating.....

 

I made this card at my hubby's request.  He asked for two masculine and two feminine cards about two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, this one is still laying on the desk beside me as I type this post.  I had an awesome time with both of these stamp sets during Sale A Bration and in the background is an old favorite - French Foliage.  I am getting more and more nervous as April 24th draws near.  I hope I don't loose too many of my favorite stamp sets.  I am still in shock that Certainly Celery is retiring, are you???

Almost over for another year - Sale A Bration

Well stampin' friends, we are just a few short days away from saying "goodbye" to another great Sale A Bration. This set, Bloomin' Marvelous, was one of the last sets I choose as my FREE stamp set for a $50 purchase. I am enjoying creating some pretty cards with it. This card was for a co-worker/friend. I have to say this is one of my favorite Designer Series Paper's right now. You can get this paper FREE between now and March 22 just for placing a $50 order on my website. AAAWWEEESSSOOOOMMMEE. I think the color combination in this designer series paper is my favorite part, I already loved Pool Party and Tangerine Tango was a great shade of orange so when you put them both together that is even better.
