Upline Inspiration

This adorable little "mini" berry basket on the left was inspired by Upline Jennifer Downey's adorable "mini" berry basket on the right. We made the BOO basket back in the fall at one of our downline team meetings. I had since put him away for next Halloween but I found him when looking for some Stampin' Up! dies in my cabinet. I pulled him out and he inspired the YUM basket we will be making in an upcoming class called Chicks, Chocolate, & Chatter. My New Hobby

Take a look at my newest venture - soap making. I have only made one batch so far, but I can tell this hobby is going to be addictive as stampin' Now to figure out a way to incorporate both hobbies.

Purple Hearts

I have really enjoyed using the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Dies. Originally I wanted to make a monochromatic card using the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Die but I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to use Wisteria Wonder with Crumb Cake. What card is not complete until you use a little Gorgeous Grunge to add some fun to the background. I hope you like today's card. Flowering Fields

This was a pretty fun and simple card we made at my last card buffet. I really like this Sale A Bration stamp set called Flowering Fields. You can get this stamp set easy peasy, just by placing a $50 order. We stamped the flowers in the Tuxedo Black Momento pad and then colored the flowers with our Stampin' Write Markers. The Happy Birthday on the front of the card is from the stamp Set Sassy Salutations. That stamp set is a real go-to for me! I hope you enjoyed today's creation. Be sure to stop back soon.

Hello Birthday Girl

My Valentine (well one of them)

This is one of my adorable nieces holding up the Valentine goodies we made for her teachers. We had a lot of fun making them together. She has always loved spending time in my craft room, which she often reminds me "is for girls only" LOL. I look forward to the day when her baby sista (as she calls her) Emma can join in on the fun. I will share some of Jamie's worldly wisdom with you: After she had stamped two of her cards with her right hand, she starts to stamp the last one with her left hand. I told her to stop and put the stamp in her right hand because she is right handed. She told me "no I am not, I am both handed" then she looks at me and asks if I know what that means. She said "that means I can do it with both hands". Soooo, both handed it is!! I hope you have a great Valentine's Day with family, friends, or your LOVE.

Will You Be My Valentine?

If my memory serves me correctly, at our last Downline Gathering, my Upline gave us a challenge of making a card with Hearts. This was my creation. I wanted something simple but with a little bit of Pizzazz. I used the Sweetheart Punch to punch out some hearts and the best background stamp set ever - Gorgeous Grunge. I was so happy they did not retire the Happy Heart embossing folder after it was featured in last years Occasions Catalog. Stop back to see some more Valentine creations this week.

Card Organizer

This was the first class I held in 2016, a card organizer. I am going to use mine to organize birthday cards. I have a few dates filled in already, and lots more to do. I made this card with all Stampin' Up! products except for the binding system and binding comb. We used 6 pieces of It's My Party DSP to make the pages/pockets. We also used a partial piece for the front of the organizer as well. The front cover was decorated with the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and coordinating punch. I hope you like the organizer, they are simple easy to make and would make a wonderful gift.

Love is in the Air

Our Stamp Club met last week and we made this awesome card that I CASED off of someone on Pinterest. We used the Shimmery White Cardstock, which I bought some time ago but had not even used yet. We stamped the heart image from the Bloomin' Love stamp set with Versa Mark and then we used clear embossing powder and the heat tool to create a "clear" image. We then used our aqua painters to "paint" across the heart image. To finish off the image we used the Wink of Stella in clear, I love this product. If you haven't tried it yet, you don't know what you are missing! If you need any more details or help making this card, feel free to drop me a line.
