Moving Forward

I made this card with Stampin' Up!s Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set Moving Forward. It took me a while to warm up to this stamp set even though we got it for FREE at Convention last year. This is a card we made at a card buffet back in the fall. It also uses one of my favorite embossing folders of all time the Fancy Fan folder. Till next time - stamp something today, it will make you smile :) or more importantly give something stamped, it will make someone else smile:)

Sale A Brate and Epsom Salts

If you have not tried the epsom salts technique in the world of stampin', you really should! I have seen several samples on SC using this technique but most were with Christmas type cards and since Christmas has passed, I did not anticipate breaking this technique out until the end of the year. Well, my upline showcased this technique at our last gathering and I really enjoyed the look and how easy it was to do. I hope you like the card, we made it at stamp club last week. Both the technique and the Sale A Bration items were a hit!

Framed Art

I made some of these framed art pieces for craft shows. They were so easy to make. I bought the frames at Walmart and then used the Labels Collection Framelits, Blessings from Heaven stamp set and Serene Silhouettes stamp set. I made them in several colors, this one is Night of Navy.

Stamp Club

Here is a card we made at Stamp Club earlier this week. A few of us ladies went out for some of my favorite cuisine - Mexican before our stamping evening together. All of our cards were Sale A Bration inspired and we also made one card using the Epsom salt technique that was inspired by up awesome upline Jennifer Downey (pics to come. This card features the SAB set Feeling Sentimental as well as the Apothecary Accents Framelits and the Top Note Die. I love the monochromatic feel of this card, don't you? Till next time...hope your day is filled with stampin'

Happy Valentine's Day

Here is a little LOVE banner I made to display in my living room. I usually do not decorate for any holiday other than Christmas or maybe a few scarecrows for Fall but I kept seeing some of the cutest ideas on SC so I said what the hey. I wanted to get it finished before my stamp club met last night so I did not get to put any ribbon on the sides (for tying it together) but I will add that touch later. I used the More Amore DSP from the Spring Mini catalog and various other SU items. I hope your Valentines Day is as special as you. Happy Stampin'
